The domain, nameserver, and address records shown on this site come from public zone files, queries to public nameservers, and public domain lists. They describe DNS infrastructure, not people. We do not collect or publish WHOIS registrant details, and we hold no registration or contact information for any domain.
This section is about that published data. The sections below are about information we collect from you when you visit the site or use the API.
The website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic. Google sets cookies and receives your IP address, pages visited, approximate location, device, and browser. Google processes this as an independent controller under its own terms; see Google's privacy policy. You can block it with any standard content blocker or by declining cookies in your browser, and the site works normally without it.
Your light/dark theme choice is stored in your browser's localStorage under
dc-theme. It is never transmitted to us.
We run no other trackers, advertising pixels, or third-party profiling.
To issue and support an API key we store the email address and name you supply.
Every authenticated API request is logged. Each log entry records the API key used, the timestamp, the request path, the client IP address, how long the request took, how many rows it returned, and the response status. We use this for rate limiting, quota accounting, abuse investigation, debugging, and capacity planning. Request logs are retained for up to 12 months and then deleted.
Paid subscriptions are sold through Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record and is the seller on the transaction. Paddle collects and processes your payment details and billing address directly, under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your card details. What reaches us is your subscription's status, plan, and renewal date, plus the billing email you gave Paddle.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share only what is necessary with:

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Email [email protected] and we will respond.
Closing your account deletes your account record. Request logs associated with your keys age out on the retention schedule above. Some records may be retained where we are required to keep them, such as transaction records kept for tax purposes.

All traffic is served over HTTPS. API keys are stored in a database that is not reachable from the public internet, and keys are never written to application logs in plaintext. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe you have found a vulnerability, please report it to [email protected].
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes affecting account holders will be notified by email.
