DNS Coffee is operated by Vorsk LLC ("we", "us"). These terms govern your use of the dns.coffee website, the api.dns.coffee API, and any related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
DNS Coffee indexes publicly available DNS data — principally public zone files, queries to public nameservers, and public domain lists — and makes it searchable through a website and a REST API.
The data is provided as observed. We make no guarantee that it is complete, current, or accurate. Zone files are periodic snapshots, so records that appear and disappear between imports may never be recorded. Dates shown are observation dates, not registry events.
API access requires a key. You are responsible for keeping your keys confidential and for all activity conducted with them. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you believe a key has been compromised, and we will revoke and reissue it.
Keys are issued to the account that requested them and may not be shared, resold, or transferred to a third party without our written agreement.

We may suspend or revoke access for conduct that, in our reasonable judgement, breaches these terms or threatens the stability of the Service.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through our payment provider. Plans renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
Academic and non-commercial access is granted at our discretion, for a fixed term, and may be renewed on application. It may be withdrawn if the use it was granted for changes materially, such as becoming commercial.
We may change plan pricing or limits. Existing subscriptions keep the price and limits they were purchased under until the subscriber changes plan; we will give reasonable notice before any change that affects an active subscription.
The Service is provided without an uptime commitment unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including specific API endpoints. Where a change would break existing integrations, we will give notice where practicable.
The Service and all data in it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. You are responsible for verifying any data before relying on it for a decision of consequence.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vorsk LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vorsk LLC against any claim, damage, or expense arising from your use of the Service in breach of these terms or of applicable law.
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes affecting paid subscribers will be notified by email to the address on the account. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute shall be the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
